Leading solar companies reaped the benefits of vertical Integration within an otherwise fragmented Industry.  But fierce competition and diminishing value threatens to invert the leading providers' business model from a competitive advantage to a costly liability.  Where's the 'value' in the solar business, can vertical integration among pure-plays still generate a profit or are other forms of innovation, integration and product now prerequisite?  How will the Industry evolve and whichh organizations will grasp the peripheral opportunities?  How long will solar companies remain just solar companies?
